# Via Exchange Visual Guide

1. Log into your selected exchange (e.g. Binance) and withdraw DOT to your Substrate wallet with Polkadot network selected.

2. Go to the Bridge tab on the Acala platform: <https://apps.acala.network/bridge> and connect your Substrate wallet

3. Ensure that the Origin Chain is “Polkadot” and the Destination Chain is “Acala”

4. Enter the amount of DOT you wish to transfer and click Transfer

5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet and your new balance should appear on both wallets
